Selling to Us

Selling your gold should feel straightforward and assured.

You must be over 18 to sell to us. All items must be legally yours and free from any police interest. We do not accept counterfeit or stolen goods.

Prices shown online or through our Scrap Calculator are indicative. Once your items arrive, they are carefully assessed to determine precise weight and purity. This may involve both non-destructive and, where necessary, minimal destructive testing. Where stones hold little or no value, their weight is deducted to ensure accuracy. In some cases, stones may be removed to obtain a true reading and cannot be returned.

Following assessment, we will offer you a price based on the live metal price that day/time. As markets move, earlier quotes may no longer apply. Jewellery pieces may be considered individually, with attention given to their form and characteristics.

While we aim to purchase every item we receive, we reserve the right to return goods. Returns are insured at our assessed value, with the option for higher cover at your request.

Items received on Saturdays are processed the following Monday, excluding bank holidays.

In-Store Selling

For in-store transactions, valid photo identification is required.

Payments are made via bank transfer. Once payment is made, ownership transfers and the transaction is complete.

Cash payments are available up to £500. Please ensure the amount is checked before leaving, as we are unable to revisit transactions once completed.

Bullion Items

Bullion coins and bars are valued with precision.

Items are purchased at bullion value when they are produced by recognised mints and presented in acceptable condition. Bars and coins outside these standards, including damaged or mounted items, are valued at their scrap content.

UK Shipping Only

We accept items sent from within the UK only.

Payment

Payments are made via UK bank transfer.

We aim to process payment on the same day your items are received. If anything requires clarification, we will contact you directly.

Please ensure bank details are accurate, as payments cannot be reversed once issued. We are unable to accept responsibility for incorrect information.

Payments are made to UK accounts only and cannot be issued to third parties.

Pre-Paid Seller Packs

Our pre-paid packs are designed to make the process simple and secure.

A £9 fee is deducted from your final settlement. Each pack includes transit cover up to £2,500 through Royal Mail for loss only.

Delivery operates next working day Monday to Thursday. Packs posted on Friday arrive the following Monday, excluding bank holidays.

You remain responsible for your items until they reach us, so proof of postage and tracking should always be retained.

If the value of your items is below £9, a £9 return fee will apply. For higher-value goods, we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery with appropriate insurance.

Items sent without sender details are held for one month before being donated to charity.

Offers are issued via email. Acceptance through the secure link is final, and once confirmed, items move forward for processing.

You can place your order online or visit our Birmingham showroom to purchase bullion using one of the following payment methods:

1. Online & Showroom Payment

Online Payments

We accept UK personal debit and credit cards for orders up to £4,000. Cards must be enrolled in Mastercard SecureCode or Verified by Visa.

Please note:

  • Business, prepaid, and international cards are not accepted
  • Additional identity verification may be required, including photographic ID and proof of address

If you choose to pay online and collect your order from our showroom, you must bring:

  • The payment card used
  • Two forms of identification:
    • A passport and photo driving licence, or
    • A passport or photo driving licence plus a recent utility bill (dated within the last three months)

Showroom Payments

You may pay by debit card in our showroom via chip and PIN.

Please note:

  • Apple Pay and Google Pay are not accepted
  • We recommend informing your bank in advance to ensure a smooth authorisation process

If placing an order over the phone, a secure payment link will be sent to your email, allowing you to complete payment online.

There are no charges for debit card payments.

2. Bank Transfer

You may place your order online and select bank transfer at checkout, or arrange your order by phone or in our showroom.

  • Payment must be initiated immediately to lock in the price
  • Please use your full name or order number as the payment reference

Important information:

  • Payments not received within 24 hours may be cancelled or re-priced and could incur an administration fee
  • Orders paid by bank transfer will only be processed once funds have cleared and been held in our account for 24 hours before collection or delivery

Additional details:

  • UK Faster Payments are free of charge
  • Bank transfers typically clear within 24 hours
  • International payments may take up to 3 working days and incur a £10 administration fee

Fully Insured

All orders, deliveries, and vaulting services are fully insured through Lloyd’s of London, providing complete peace of mind throughout your purchase journey.
